Online Franchise Reverting Back to Previous Save Point

My dad and I have been playing Madden together since I think Madden 15 on PS4. Last August we got PS5's and Madden 23 created our Online Franchise September 4th, which was before the September 8th Title Update.

We played through the entire 2022 season. When we do the draft, I start it and then pause it right away so we can through our picks and we've done it this way since we started.

PS5 Madden 23 was a little different. We got through the draft and then simulated preseason games, reduced rosters and got to Week 1. Then were disconnected and when we came back, it was 1st round, 10th pick.

Figuring it was a once-off glitch, we did the draft again. Same exact result.  We did the draft a third and fourth time with the final time my dad played Week 1. When he clicked Finish Game, it reverted him back to the draft.

I've seen (Tweeter, Reddit) that this has happened in Madden 22 as well as others having this issue with Madden 23. 

What can be done about this? It's really annoying to invest time and then just have to start completely over.

PS, Why was seeing who you drafted removed? It's astonishingly foolish to remove that.

@EA_Blitz @EA_Illium @EA_Aljo @EA_Kent @EA_Barry     Can you at least give us some info that we are looking at a few days or a few weeks * anything maybe next year. You should post something on 19pages to let us know you have a plan.

Thank you EA for making such a great game. I've had many bugs, crashes, and franchise resets since I have played. How you have not been able to make a fix to a mode in your own game is astounding to me. you have had literally a whole month to fix a simple issue that breaks a key mode in your pitiful excuse for a video game. The sad thing is that i have actually had fun for the first time in literal years playing M23, but since you choose to be a bunch of lazy fools instead of giving us simple patches, roster updates, and lots of more things that could save your game you choose to sit there with a finger up your butt like a bunch of simpletons. Maybe when you pea brained baboons decide to do something the game will be fun again, but lets be honest with how long you've already taken the game will more than likely be dead due to your sheer incompetence. lets look on the bright side of things though. your ultimate team game mode is doing good. Oh wait, they are also on a pack strike because you can't do anything right. you guys care a lot more about that though because you at least gave that community some attention by saying you're looking into things. your company is dog water, your employees are dog water, your management is dog water, and any of the EA employees that are reading this are also dog water. Fix your game you idiots.

XBox Series X. Online. Year 3 of Franchise. No matter what, it deletes everything and goes back to Round 1 Pick 18. This is crazy.

EA owes us a refund.  Legally even.  

Offline also corrupts the game so that it aborts loading your saved game   This is sickening and not acceptable.

Same problem here, and I’m confused as to why we can’t get an official response from EA on this. My buddy and I play through an entire season and complete another draft. Then played 8 games into that following season only to come back the next day and be reverted all the way back to the 2nd round of the previous draft. That’s 2 drafts and 1.5 seasons worth of lost progress. EA, please, updated us. We spend hours playing your game for no reason when this happens. So frustrating.
