I can’t find anything from EA tgat this issue is known. Currently the play now -> play now “play real nfl matchups every week” mode is broken, it’s still stuck on week 1!!
this mode is why I buy the game, to play each week my favorite nfl team game. It’s week 4! Game is stuck on week 1
This mode is wasted if it’s not fixed until late into the season, we have. already lost 2 weeks of the nfl schedule
madden 23 play live weekly is stuck on week 1. i as well as many others look forward to playing with our favorite teams on this mode. play now live hasn't worked right since madden 21. please address this problem promptly you may lose a lot of customers over this issue. me included having been a madden purchaser since it came out.
I’ve had the same problem. It actually started a few weeks ago when It was stuck on week one of the preseason & I was unable to start my franchise. They were able to fix that problem(not sure what they did)but now find myself in the same situation stuck on regular season week one…..kinda defeats the purpose of the game mode. It’s very frustrating!
Same here! I buy this game just for this mode play now! EA you really mean play week one all season!!!! REALLY!!! EA PLEASE FIX PLAY NOW MODE PLEASE!!!!!
Unbelievable. Week 5 and still stuck playing Week 1. What a waste of our money.
Same here. Same thing as last year. I'm so glad I'm just playing this game through EAs play pro so I can play other games and didn't purchase this garbage. I'll NEVER buy another madden.
As a 30+ year old gamer with 25+ years of IT experience. Its SAD to see from a technical level how little this game is polished nowadays. They could put a ton of features on this, make it free to play and STILL bank from their insane MUT profits.
HOWEVER, I personally feel MUT has ruined this game. Its nothing but a micro transaction money grab with yearly roster updates for 70 bucks. I don't care about ultimate team, I haven'et since it was first made clearly pay to win. I tried leveling up, got to 80 and got matched up with 99 teams w/ players who spent 500+ ... Screw that!!
I just want quick play to be a league sim. At worst, I like to play this weeks browns upcoming browns game in advance, Now I don't even get that as a "premier feature" which takes EA ZERO time. I truly cannot stand EA and hope they BUD LIGHT themselves into bankruptcy. After a few years of APEX and seeing how ignorantly WOKE its gotten, its just a matter of time and I can't wait!!!
One day EA will be the Bud light or LIberty Safe's of gaming. Your current shareholders are dumb to support the current leadership and you'll pay for it soon enough.
Also worth noting, games from SNES, N64 and PS had more content in their football games. Honestly after playing EA's Battlefront 2, perhaps this "woke movement" had led to just hiring absolutely dummies with ZERO talent as devs???
So is this game still having the same issues? Under the play now weekly games, has it updated to week 3 or 4 or still stuck on week 1?
At least I’m not the only one frustrated with this.
Maybe one day it will get fixed later in the season?
