Oops, I spoke too soon! Saitek throttle disconnect slowed the erratic buttons jumping around, however as soon as I selected an option, the invisible mouse pointer happened again and erratic jumping came back (albeit at a slower rate. Sigh

Hey @MUDCITYRODENTS,
Did you disconnect the throttle while the game was already running? Have you tried disconnecting it before launching Madden NFL 21 to see if that makes any difference at all? I'm wondering if the game just isn't happy with the input device changing while it's already running./Kent
FINALLY got in touch with the EA tech support team. After a pleasant discussion and a short wait, I was informed that the EA team knows about the issue and is working on it. NO estimated time to fix. Not real jazzed about the news that I purchased a known defective game. I expected better.
Hello Kent,
Thank you for the response. Short answer is Yes. Even gone so far as a clean install of Origin and Madden21. Still same issue.
I'm having the same issue. I did a clean install of windows and tested things before reverting back to my backup. It's so infuriating that I can't even play the game with my controller. I have tried everything I can possibly think off, except refunding the game I guess 🙂

Thanks for the updates!
I know you've tried a lot of troubleshooting already. Did you have a chance to try starting up your PC in a Clean Boot to see if that makes any difference at all? If not, would you mind giving it a shot? You can find more information on how to set one up over at the EA Help website.
Let me know how that goes when you have a chance. Thanks again.
/Kent
I've had the same issue that's only seemed to start today, again with my X52 seemingly taking over the controller slot. I changed my preferred controller to my xbox controller in windows and so far I've not had it again.

Yup I had the same problem, I had two other USB devices connected (flight stick, flight throttle.) Once I disconnected these and rebooted (make sure you set up your controller in Steam) everything is fine.
