Re: face of franchis player creating problem (Profane name)

I think I can speak for everyone where as no one wants to use a different last name. That past couple games the commentary team actually calls out my name when ever I made a play so its not profanity or anything like that

I created one no issue with my actual name, but when I tried to use my character “Desmond Jones III” it flags the last name for being profane, but I didn’t have this issue in Madden 20 when using this same name. But I agree, creating the guy just to have him say “generic player” is beyond frustrating.

So I was just able to do FotF with the Jones character, and it shows up no issue on his HS jersey. I chose to go to Oklahoma for college, and they change the name to College Player. EA be slipping big time on something they should be easy to maintain.

Same still can’t even play face of the franchise 

How is this not fixed @eakennedy?  I have no profanity in my name and still cannot get FOF to give me anyone other than a generic player.

So my last name Pugh, was dinged for having Profanity when I did the custom avatar. So I changed it to Hugh to get passed it. In FOTF when I tried Pugh again it automatically put my as ‘Generic Player’ but when I tried ‘Hugh’ it worked. What is up with this & why are so many last names having this problem? I’d like to use my actual name when creating a character so please solve this

If you put him in the game is his football abilities out of this world? 😉 

Doesn't sound normal. Is it a created player you have on the roster that may have bugged out?

If you haven't powered cycle the console lately, I'd try giving that a go to see if it clears up any caching issues. Definitely not "normal" though. Either could be a hardware related issue, minor graphical bug, or corrupted file.
