Hmm, could you try uninstalling your Opera browser, just to check if that is affecting things?
Can you confirm you manually ran the DXSETUP and vcredist files from your game install location as an Administrator please?
Thanks.
I installed the two files as admin as you recommended.
I uninstalled Opera - still crashing. Crash dump here.
As I said above, when I bought the game a week after it's release I could play a crash-free exhibition match during the download (when it became green). So I reinstalled the game yesterday but I couldn't play it anymore - it is crashing during the download now too.
Thanks for trying to help me ...

Crashing during the download is not ideal. Those crashdumps are barely readable without a specific tool that I don't have. The only thing I could get from it is that you have the game installed on your D:\ drive. It is probably worthwhile checking that disk for errors: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/administration/windows-commands/chkdsk
Additionally, you should run System File Checker to ensure the integrity of your Windows System files: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833
...and clear your Origin cache if you have not already done so: https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/
Let us know if these steps have any effect for you, thanks.

I know the following steps may seem unrelated but please download and install the media Feature Pack, enable Windows media and download/install QuickTime:
https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/fifa/fifa-2016/crashing-after-selecting-a-language-in-fifa-16/
https://support.apple.com/kb/DL837?locale=en_US
Again, let us know how this goes.
@EA_Barry, tried both, but still crashing. Always about two seconds after the kickoff (when the ball is at the highest point), no matter if the AI or me is kicking off.
These crashes also appear in practice mode in "offense only" mode - two seconds after the snap. The quarterback doesn't need to pass the ball; the game also crashes when he keeps it.
Before I unsuccessfully played around with things like commentary off, windowed mode, lowest available graphics settings - nothing helped.

I chatted with the support today. They recommended to create a Windows test account (like this: https://support.microsoft.com/de-ch/instantanswers/5de907f1-f8ba-4fd9-a89d-efd23fee918c/create-a-local-user-or-administrator-account-in-windows-10) and try Madden from there. And hey, it works. At least. That's still no solution, since starting from scratch with Windows is no option for me (not for a single game), but maybe they can help me identify the program/driver/whatever that causes the crashes.

This actually ####ing works. Unbelievable!
I'm on Windows 8.1 so all I did was log out and log back in with the Guest windows account.
So what's the difference between the Guest windows account and the main windows account? @EA_Barry

So it looks like the issue was a corrupt Windows User Profile, so creating a new User account seems to be working for you guys.
