- The reason I say that because I had that same issue with my GTX 980 in the middle of the game it would just crash back to desktop but when I went to update my drivers I haven't had that problem since
Just turned on the ps4 to another update. Maybe itll be a fix

EA_Barry seems like the crashes have stopped so far. The corrupted files are ruined but starting a new franchise is going well so far. Thanks for your help
@EA_Barry Does the new update fix franchise crshing on year 2022 or 23 for pc?
@EA_Barry nope this update broke all of my saves crashes immediately on load. Also I am getting this. Also it didn't fix the problem my game still crashes in years 2022 or 2023
I don't understand how you can update a game to fix issues but end up making things worse an unplayable. It's like they didn't even do enough testing before releasing an update that's not good business. They have to repair this individually on every platform for the fact that this game is on multiple platforms. changing one line of code to fix an issue on one of those platforms alone is not going to work on all platforms you have to do it individually.
Does anyone over at EA understand that this is happening more for PC users and also that it's happening on Franchise mode? I read what the patch was suppose to do but it doesn't state anything about Franchise mode.
- @EA_Barry Looks like the game still crashes after the 2022 or 2023 season. Do you all even read this forum? This issue is the second most talked about topic here. Change you guys mindset with just MUT and fix this issue that has been a problem since release.

@EA_BarryI just crashed to desktop on PC in the year 2023 after finishing a game. I had played a few games in the 2018 season prior to the patch, then simmed a bunch of seasons today after the update. It worked fine until I played a game and finished it.
@EA_Barry looks like it's still crashing. Loaded a back up save file, made it to week 8 of 2023, played the game and when I tried to end, it crashed back to the desktop and then the entire save file got corrupted again. It just crashes back to desktop when trying to load.
On PS4
I have updated and before starting a franchise I want to invest time into, made a new one and simmed each year until 2030, going into 2 games each season, simming the game until the last minute, playing the last minute, then exiting the game where the crash was happening for me.
As of right now, no crash at year 2030.
Unfortunately, depth chart issues STILL exist. A lower rated player that you want to start will not start in the game if you put him in front of a higher rated player in the menu.
Starting a new franchise that I am going to actually play even with depth chart issues now, so fingers crossed. Anyone else on console still experiencing crashes?
- @chefparisss I just figured out that the last patch of the patch was only to fix the October Patch crash issues. In other words. They are still not listening to us and say "screw you, you don't play MUT so who cares"
You've exited out and it allowed you to reload after these saves going to year 2030? That's the issue Ive had. I'm on the PS4. I had a backup save that was in the offseason prior to year 5 that I reloaded and when I sim to year 5 and play a game (I play a 1 minute quarter game to test) it will let me play the game fine. It just will not allow me to load the save file after saving, exiting and trying to re-enter. Perhaps something in the creation of my franchise is causing this issue. Ive used custom draft classes each year and I even moved a couple teams around. However, at this point I just dont feel like starting a franchise over. At this point, I think Im gonna go back to M18 and continue the franchise that Im already 18 seasons into. Just sucks, because I had M19 playing a real nice game on All Madden.
I am wondering if it has anything to do with loading custom draft classes, rosters or sliders? I know in my PC franchises that have been crashing I use a custom draft class for the first draft, import game play sliders and custom rosters from Madden Share.
I'm wondering if anyone has tried to start a new franchise mode and do not play as the team and roll that you selected at the beginning leave them on autopilot and make a secondary team that doesn't have control over the league and play with that roll and team?
Because I know if you just go in and Sim a brand new franchise without playing any games works. So I'm wondering if it would crash playing with the secondary team on your profile. just throwing that out there not sure if it would work though.
