Do you have a current Xbox Live Gold subscription?

Try clearing the alternate MAC address with these steps:

• Go to your Xbox Settings
• Go to "Network", then "Advanced Network Settings"
• Click on "Alternate MAC Address", and then click "Clear"

Can you play other games online? Normally, the message you're seeing means you're not logged in. Have you spoken with Xbox support to see if there are any issues with your account? Also, does this happen with any other modes or is it only Face of the Franchise?

@EA_Aljo Yes I can play other games online just last night I played some call of duty online just fine. I can’t do anything but the play now options or creative stuff on madden

Thanks for all the details. Unfortunately, I'm out of ideas for this. Possibly, an advisor will have some other suggestions. Try opening a case here. Could you let me know if they're able to get this fixed or not? I'm really curious about this.

Actually, there are a couple other things you can try. Take a look at the network settings and make sure your NAT type is 1. Also, try removing your PSN ID from your console and adding it back.
