Re: Redeeming various sets error "Our Servers Cannot process your request"

I cannot do the new Devin Hester set, I have all the cards but cannot do the set. I had this same issue with the Doug Baldwin set, I am still able to do some other sets that I have tried. It says that the servers cannot process this request, my friend was able to do the Doug Baldwin set but I was not, we both play on PC. I have talked with EA support and they told me to make this because it wasn't a problem on my end. Please help.

    I have the same issue and have not received a response on previous post about this issue. EA is ignoring it. A solution was found on reddit. The cause is using cards which have been previously upgraded. 

    I'm continuing the bring this up, because we shouldn't have to use a broken game. If they don't fix it I'll doo everything I can legally do to get all of my money back.

    To confirm if you are still running into this error can you also see my last question I posted above as well as provide the following?

    Platform:

    Persona:

    Region:

    Network Type?

    When do you encounter the error?

    List the players being used when encountering the error.

    Have you found a workaround, or noticed you got past the error after trying any specific troubleshooting steps?

    Hello,

    I don't know if it's player from the auction house or in my collection. I was able to confirm it was with cards that had been previously powered up in smaller sets. When attempting to complete it with a previously powered up card I would receive the mentioned server error. If I crafted a new card the set was able to be completed. 

    Platform: PC

    Persona: DXDegenerate

    Region: CA

    Network Type? Wired

    @EA_Illium It's hard to say at this point, but I know it was cards that had been upgraded. Since I had to purchase or create a number of cards in the Team Diamond set I can only tell you the last card(s). The last 2 I had to create new were the team builder Chase Claypool and Devin Bush. 

    You should be able to easily duplicate the error by using training to upgrade the card, then refunding it and trying to add it to a set.

    For Everyone, 

    We had a player call this out as a potential workaround:

    "The Stadium Piece in the lineup is listed as "Not Required" but it actually is, and was removed, once you add a stadium the error stopped showing"

    I wanted to check if anyone else might notice something similar and if this workaround might help.

    @EA_Illium I don't know what you mean when you reference the stadium piece. Is this something required for every set?

    I'm not sure what you mean by stadium piece either. I had Alexander, Nelson and Okudah in the MF set that was giving me errors. They are still in my binder. I'm getting the same error with my TD set for Buble. Thanks for looking at this.

    @EA_Illium Following up on my previous response. Also wondering why it's so hard to get some actual help? I have numerous cases/conversations which get no response from your team, or they go silent like this one after minimal interaction. What other steps can I take? How do we get a supervisor or manager to address this?

    No update here. I still have the TD Budde set I can’t finish. I gave up on the MF set, which annoys me because I paid real coin on a pack to get one of the 90’s. I can’t give up on Budde though because I need him for my TT. I’m not sure what to do next. There are other posts on the main forum so we’re not alone, but now they’re just giving the link to this thread as a solution.

    @JuhstThat’s how the tech support works sometimes. I first filed a trouble ticket online and when I went to follow up it had been marked as solved. At some point they’re all solved because after a while the card isn’t any good, or not good enough to raise a fuss. So if they ignore it long enough it will go away. I’ve been over a month on the MF set.

  • @EA_Illium There is no “potential workaround” fix this dog * * game. Honestly tired of grinding countless hours to get error messages Everytime I try to upgrade my team. No I’m not posting proof bc you’ve seen plenty and still haven’t had anybody helped yet. It’s been months. Fix this * man

  • the only fix I have found it that you trade the cards to your friend and they trade them back to you, or if you and your friend both have an issue with the same cards you can just trade them card for card and it seems to fix it. Unfortunately, if it is a BND card I cannot find a fix which is very unfortunate because I cannot do the MCS set for woolen.
