Taking A Year Off From Making Madden 24
Hello, Ea sports, my name is Davion Greene and I have been a loyal Madden player for 21 years. Although I enjoy the game very much, there are many issues that have occurred while I have purchased your last 3 installments in the franchise. Over the past 3 years, your Madden games haven't seen any logical and noticeable improvements that would be worth talking about to non-Madden gamers. Madden has seemed to remain pretty stagnant when it comes to the gameplay such as missed tackling, celebrations, quarterback adjustments, defensive awareness, offensive line pass/run blocking, making spectacular catches, and penalties. In addition to the gameplay, these games lack real-life coaching adjustments, in-game play calling, sideline conservations, Superbowl half-time show performances, White House visitation after winning the Superbowl, carting off players with serious injuries, and the lack of variety in the commentary options. I think that Ea Sports should consider taking a year off from making Madden 24 in the next year and allow themselves and their loyal gamers to take a break from the same mediocrity that we have been forced to settle with for so long. In 2024, I think that you should release Madden 25, and these are the many options and features that I feel need to be implemented into the game so you will have people talking and excited to pay their money to purchase it. These features are Creating a Team mode for Franchise and regular Gameplay, changing the commentary team to fit the real-life announcers that actually call the games on tv every Sunday, having a pregame broadcast be shown before the games are played in Madden Franchise Mode, include player/coach interviews after wins and losses so they can discuss key events that occurred during the game, pre-game warmups need to occur before kickoff begins in each game, allow the gamers to hear the coaches and players interact on the sidelines and on the field, allow the gamers to make a crucial play-calling suggestion during close games, include all the assistant coaches, training staff, and backup players to be seen on the sideline throughout the game, adjust the crowd noise based on the way the game is being played, bring back the Canton Greats football team in Franchise Mode, allow us to be able to witness the Scouting Combine and host pre-draft interviews with up to 10 players that we choose from, based on the Combine results and pre-draft interviews, make an adjustment with the pre-draft slide and rise of prospects in the upcoming draft, add a once in a generation type of player to each NFL Draft, allow us to make trades of multiple draft picks and three players to resemble a NBA Trade or NFL trade in real-life, take a look back at the football game "Blitz" and incorporate their use of physical tackles, such as body slamming, hitting the receiver while they are the air to catch the ball, hitting the ball-carrier as there are going out of bounds and trash-talking amongst the players. Furthermore, I would like to see you guys install injury updates before and after every game in Franchise Mode, and broadcast the entire NFL Draft as they do in real life, if I use my create a team in Franchise Mode, I want to import computer-generated players that I develop myself, make the defense more competitive and reflect their ranking within the NFL, have the offense reflect their ranking within the NFL, improve the passing and allow us to throw a perfect ball in tight windows, allow the receivers to make adjustments to be able to catch a contested ball, have players mobility be affected by injuries such as a sprained ankle, hamstring injuries, and sprained foot. Also, I would like to be able to negotiate contracts with star players based on what the market value is for their current position, work the guaranteed money issues, buyout any expensive contracts on aging veterans, and have the ability to sign a top free agent even though my cap space is low. Finally, Madden NFL 25 must include head-coaching interviews, in-season coaching firings, promoting coordinators to head-coaching positions, allow us to create a more-detailed draft board during the NFL Draft process, suggest certain players that could fit our team needs both in free agency and the draft, highlight players who may be a "diamond in the rough" in the later rounds of the NFL Draft, allow us to have real practice sessions before a game where we can develop the gameplan and playbook that we will use for that specific team, make retirements make sense which means if a player such as Tom Brady is retiring, let us have the chance to witness him enter the Hall of Fame along with the rest of the class that he goes in with. I know this may seem like a lot of options and features that I expect or desire to be included in the next Madden. Madden 23 has been a big disappointment amongst many of your loyal gamers, and since you guys always release a game every year, it can be difficult to make improvements on the same game that you know people going to still buy. The best games that have been released over the last few years such as Sniper Elite 5, WWE 2k22, and Halo Infinite were sequels to popular game franchises that took at least 2 years to be developed and recreated before they were launched in their respective years. I strongly encourage you guys at Ea Sports to seriously consider sitting out 2023 and wait until 2024 to release the next installment because your gamers really need to see improvements and installments of their most requested features be implemented in the games to bring back the excitement that previous versions such as Madden 12 and Madden 10 brought to them.
