The file cannot load because it's incompatible with this version of the game

Hello,

I tried to load my offline Connected Franchise but it tells me that it cannot be loaded because it was created with a different version of the game and that it is incompatible with the version of the game. If I try to load the Autosave it tells me that it is broken.

I did not install any new version of the game. What went wrong?

I'm getting this message every time I try and load up my (only) Connected Franchise from the main menu. I have also tried loading from the "resume offline" section but this gives the same message. Trying to load the Auto Save file results in a "Loading Data" screen coming up which never develops into anything.

Has anyone been able to find a way to fix this? it's a bit frustrating seeing as I've been playing non-stop for three weeks and not being able to access the only game file I have means I've pretty much wasted all that time.

any solution or is this a must restart from scratch again?

Having same problem. How was no one from EA replied to this after 2 weeks??

No fix?!!?!?!?!?

The only "fix" I've found so far is to not accept the system roster update.  Not sure how much of a "fix" it is but I just noticed my saved franchises would **bleep** out soon after I would accept the roster update.  I started a new franchise after my previous 3 had gotten corrupted and didn't accept the roster update and so far my franchise is still resumable.

Again, it may be coincidence but it's worked so far.  The downside is that if you don't take the roster update then you probably can't play online.

I had an open case with EA and talked to a specialist at EA and he recommeneded doing a PS4 system update but that didn't work.  I had another case open with Sony and talked to one of their specialists and they recommened going in and renewing all my licenses and rebuilding the PS4 database but none of that worked either.

Hopefully, eventually, EA will release a patch to fix this.
