Update on the MUT Level Packs Price Change

Hey Madden Community, We wanted to provide you with an update on the MUT Level Packs price change.

We saw an issue begin to surface last week that was imbalancing the in-game economy in MUT. The new level packs were artificially inflating Coin pricing of items in the auction house, making it more difficult for all players to obtain those items.

We made a decision last week to increase the price of the level packs to stop this issue from negatively impacting everyone.

If you leveled up and unlocked these packs before the price increased but had yet to purchase them after the price increase, please contact our customer service team and we will refund the difference.

We constantly monitor the state of the game’s overall health to ensure the play experience is fun for everyone. Our top priority when designing and building the game is maintaining balance for all players.

    Hey @EA_Blueberry !

    Thanks for the message. Would it be possible to get a money back refund instead of points as the ea help only offers right now? 

    It costed about 25€ to buy them before, up to 50 right now. I'm not willing right now to put 50€ in the game and only know the outcome of only half when I could have put the 25€ for the same guaranteed outcome.

    @EA_Blueberry they were the first I talked to. They told me that for now the only option was a refund of the points. They advised me to present the money refund option here.

    I unlocked the level packs before the increase of price. Is it possible to get the original price of the level packs?

    I have the same problem (leveled up before price increase) and have contacted EA Support, but the person on the line did not know about the refund. Please fix the communication to the other employees! Do you have any other recommendations how to get the difference back?

    I'm sorry that happened, please contact an EA Advisor over Twitter or Live-Support again and be sure to mention it's the MUT Level Packs. It sounds like the EA Advisor you spoke to was not aware of this change and reaching out to Support again will notify our staff additional training could be required.
