What does Madden 24 need to improve on?
Franchise Mode similar to NBA 2k
Be able to have CPU vs CPU in Franchise mode
Better animations on offense and defense
Expansion Teams
Graphics are fine
PLAY EVER GAME IN FRANCHISE MODE including games your team is not playing in. I want to play every game CPU vs CPU game in week 1, 2, etc
What does everyone else want in Madden 24?
Or how about when coaches get fired in franchise mode they can be used for off/def/sp teams coaches instead of fake coaches.
I just do not understand why it is so hard to have a quality football game. It is like EA just has message boards so they can act like they care when really they do not.

MyCareer got so much more worse over the last couple of years. It started as a great sandbox mode where you could have a realistic career coming to the NBA by having to negotiate with different GM's and earn your spot in a franchise.
Today you play a completely rigged story with the focus beeing more on how to become a famous rapper than a NBA star. Career mode has been cut more and more over the years to only become that absolute dull VC grinder that it is today.
Presentation also is getting worse and worse every year in the game. 2K is almost exclusively focussed on the online gamble mechanics to make the most profit possible even with the once offline game modes.
Madden at least still has that "sandbox" feeling to it that made NBA2K also great some years ago.
If EA would only focus on presentation and the gameplay basics, as well as the franchise mode for the next game then Madden series would be absolutely fine for a vast majority of players. Madden just needs some soul again.
No one posted anything before your message about 2K's MyCareer mode. The OP spoke about EA modeling 'Franchise' mode after NBA 2Ks which even if you're not a huge fan of it is the deepest and most accurate representation of sports Franchise gaming outside of text simulators.
Madden's franchise mode is an antiquated mess from top to bottom. The system of choosing and creating "characters" is idiotic. I should just be able to pick as many teams as I want from the selection screen and then once I'm in the mode choose how I want my experience to be with each team from a menu not one at a time. There is no real presentation in Madden its the exact same thing every game you boot up. Whatever player they decide to focus on prior to the game they keep showing you his stat line when he comes to field, even if he's having a terrible game...move on to whomever is playing well.
I'm convinced and have been for years that they've completely lost perspective and that there just isn't enough 'Football Fans' in those rooms making decisions.

Bringing back Photo Gameface. I remembered when Madden had Photo Gameface. The last time I saw that in Madden was when Richard Sherman was in the Madden Cover.
I want a much better franchise mode: Expansion teams, watching every game via cpu vs cpu so I do not have to own every team and use slow sim. I could care less about graphics. I want more authentic play. More realism and intelligence in the players. Less bugs. And bring back college football so I can import draft classes. How much of these ideas intrigue other players?
