Hang on a minute...you mean to tell me that you're asking us for evidence of what the company you work for is doing? How is the press finding this out but employees are in the dark?

@Findicarton
"Features" was mentioned and we will want to be specific on what we're discussing because that can refer to anything, including game modes.

On this page it states the following...
††FieldSENSE™️ Gameplay System only on PlayStation®️5 and Xbox Series X|S versions.https://www.ea.com/games/madden-nfl/madden-nfl-23/gameplay-features
This is the same way Madden 22 was handled.
†Dynamic Gameday only available on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5
https://www.ea.com/games/madden-nfl/madden-nfl-22/gameplay-features
I refuse to buy another madden until EA stops intentionally creating feature gaps between PC and Current Gen Consoles. Additionally, Where is cross play?
Thank you, @CoolwaterPSN
Yes this is accurate. ††FieldSENSE™️ Gameplay System is only on PlayStation®️5 and Xbox Series X|S versions.

Run it up the ladder that PC gamers want ALL the features. This is absolutely ridiculous that PC is not the same version that PS5 and Xbox Series X/S gets.
As a computer programmer I understand that their can be hurdles, but this is not one of them. Again, I will not buy Madden again until this is resolved. I didn't buy last year, and won't buy next year. Last year I cancelled my EA Play Pro because of it. You're not delivering content I want anymore. I've got old Maddens I can fire up and get the same game. I don't need renamed features or updated rosters.
EA is going down the wrong path here, and eventually it's going to catch up to them. It's sad to see the legacy of John Madden tossed into the trash like this. I'm both disgusted and disappointed.

Just Add it would be a better game

@EA_Blueberry I know that you can't do anything about this situation. But why bother putting out a madden on PC if you are not giving the full experience? Hardware can't be the issue same as porting it over. Just want to know why the PC gamers are ignored for three years straight.
- 4 years ago@EA_Blueberry Thank you for confirming what has been said about the exclusivity of FieldSense. As per the original question, can you get an explanation as to why?

I've already passed along the sentiment we're seeing here from the PC community and asked if there is an answer as to why the team went in this direction. If there any updates on this we will share it here.- 4 years ago
@EA_Blueberry thank you for forwarding the questions asked. It is just really frustrating for people who have more than enough hardware to be passed on again of playing madden, I just hope EA realises they dropped the ball here. In steam you have more football games, yes made by idie devs. For example maximum football just lacks in game gameplay but has honestly a better franchise system than madden has. Secondly we can get the roster updates from mods. Why would we pay 60dollars for a roster update, that is what madden 23 last gen is at this point, if we can get it for free? Honestly I think that I speak for everyone who plays madden on PC, the lack of crossplay and the full game experience is hurting your sales and pushes a lot of potential buyers away. We won't buy a console for madden alone. We want to play the full on the best systems and those systems are not a playstation 5 or an xbox series X or S. I know we are not your main sales, but then don't release a version on the game where no one asked for, and pass on us entirely, that is the feeling EA is giving usyway.

Can you tell us why?

Guys, make as much noise and influence as many people as you can to bring next gen to PC. Its worth a try... Im not keen on taking a back seat for another year or however long they decide to neglect PC gamers for. I started a twitter tag #Madden23NextGen4PC

EA doesnt like the mods and stuff people have the ability to do on PC. It makes them look bad when nobodies buy the game and design/create/implement aspects of the game that play and look better than EA themselves release.

@EA_Blueberry There is a 20something page topic on the pc players getting screwed in madden 21, and a longer one in madden 22. Both of which you are apart of.
They are obviously referencing the fact that the pc version is an entirely different game than the ps5 version.
No one is buying this recycled nonsense.
We are looking for an excuse as to why we keep getting shafted. And tell the support staff to stop lying to people.
Thank you

I haven't gotten a response in 12 months of trying on the 'madden 22 pc not next gen' thread. I know man!

If you want to know the why, it is due to monetization. EA believes that since there are a lot of low spec PC gamers that it is in their best interest to copy and paste the previous generation of the game so that more users can engage in microtransactions. If they were to put their best product forward then that means the person already playing last gen at 35 fps would now be unable to do so.
Same strategy done by 2k.

Thats a terrible take and harkens back to specs. The recommended specs for this pre gen game on PC people generally don't even own the hardware anymore because they're so old. 90% of new games that are released cant even run on them. I know this because I had the exact gpu recommended by steam and it was unable to play the majority of games 2-3 years ago. Its blatant negligence on EAs part.
EDIT: and another point should be made, GPUs last 5-8 years. The recommended GPU is 9-10 years old.- 4 years ago@fonzo04 fifa is next gen on PC this year, which is odd.
The recommended spec is insulting. Recommended should be 20 series or later in all games. Minimum can be 980-1080. Then, recommended specs for ray tracing, 3070 or 3080+.
I am still so pissed off that my 2 favorite games are screwing me over for a 3rd year in a row, in 2k and madden. There is no logical reason for it.

So Ea wants 60 bucks for the "new" Madden 23. But can you tell me exacly what those new features are for PC this year?
Because I played the "new" Madden and it feels like exactly like Madden 22.

How is it a question though? Our machines outperform the best consoles and we're lacking features.....any features. Make that make sense.
