@fonzo04 EA knows that a PC is the best machine for gaming. See releases as BF2142 and F1 22. They release those games with all the extra's for PC.
However in the case of EA-Sports or they have their head up their A**, or they just don't care about us. We are not the primary buyers even though it sales only will get better with new gen tech, so they just sell us just a new FOTF and and roster update and charge us 60 dollars for an easy crtl+c ctrl+v. Lostsoul and his mod team have made 2k5 outperform madden
19 20 2122 with a game almost 2 decades old. (Roster updates included) that just shows you what they care about here and that is only whats in your wallet. They just want you to spend 60 dollars for perhaps 500 man hours of work for the roster update. (FOTF is also on PS5 so it is not FOR us that they made it)- KWRussell4 years agoRising Traveler@EA_Blueberry Does Tiburon expect us to take this as a sign that FieldSense is the only feature gap between PC and PS5/XSXS, or are they hoping that by drip-feeding more feature gaps over the next two months, we won’t notice that you’re shipping Madden 19 5.0? Because we are already keenly aware that you’re shipping Madden 19 5.0.

Your feedback and frustrated is acknowledged. The Forum Team will continue to pass along all PC fan's thoughts on feeling excluded from FieldSENSE to the team. It's not ideal and I am sure it came down to a tough decision to not be able to include this for that platform. If there is any path to adding Gen 5 features for players on PC this season we will make sure its announced to the community. Throughout my years at EA and helping the Madden team I do not anticipate any deviation from what has already been announced for this season of Madden NFL 23.
The game features/details you are requesting to be shown are unavailable to the forum team to announce at this time. As in the past, these features are showcased over Gridiron Notes and social media as we come closer to launch. We'll make sure it's posted here as soon as we become aware. It's understandable eager fans like yourself want to find out what's included on PC so you know how the game will feel and play. Pre-order bonuses are valid up until the Worldwide release date. So if there is any concerns on missing out on those benefits we thankfully have more time on our side until additional news about the game is revealed. In a world where we have Twitch & YouTube streamers and those with early access to the game it allows fans to get a good idea what a game will be like before making a purchase. Again to bring this up in the forums the EA Play Pro membership includes the full game and a huge library of other games. EA Play Basic will allow 10 hours of gameplay for Madden NFL 23. I know some players will jump into that to see if they want to purchase the full game once the 10 hours of gameplay are up.We hope you join us on the field this season but we also don't want you to feel obligated to play a game you don't think will have the best experience. Having fun in our games is a pretty big part of why we make games. We really think this year will be an amazing season of Madden NFL football on both Gen 4 and Gen 5. That is up to you to decide in the end though and we'll make sure all concerns are forwarded to the team from our side both before and after launch. That is what we are responsible here on the forums. We'll be your voice in any way we can so they can consider requests for the future.
@EA_BlueberryDoes that mean we still are not getting things like next gen stats? The things that will be revealed, are they only going to be for current gen consoles? Will this game still play like it did in 2019 for PC? Can you get an explanation as to why two different games are being released? Why waste time making two different games?
@EA_Blueberryyou are speaking as if you actually believe there is only a feature missing.
GUYS. EA MADE 2 DIFFERENT GAMES IN 2 DIFFERENT ENGINES.
Character models, lighting, shaders, geometry..all previous gen on PC.
Fieldsense is nonsense. No one cares. Stop lying about information that is public. If we were getting current gen physics and character models, no one would be in this forum right now.
It is not one feature we are missing. We are in an entirely different game engine.
Ya know..the one with stick figures and inaccurate numbers on the sidelines..
Lord have mercy. No one is interested in the current gimmick. I have been saying this over and over, but I see people responding and they are actually believing you that they are just getting a game without fieldsense.STOP IT
Everyone on PC is somewhat aware. If you go to the Steam reviews of M22 nobody wants to play M22 or M23 because we know the inner workings and can actually tell what's going on behind the scenes when an update happens or anything. It must suck for EA sports to be held to a standard when they can't BS a whole community. If you look at the system requirements on steam for Madden 22 and Madden 23, they have identical requirements. Shows how much work was put into it.

Agree in way. However if you look at it from EA unlike Consoles with fixed hardware. PC users have hundreds of different combinations. However EA could solve this problem as well by introducing an expanded settings menu. So people who can't run everything could simply turn it off.
Nvidia and AMD software does this automatically
"It's not ideal and I am sure it came down to a tough decision to not be able to include this for that platform."
Some clarity on what went into that decision would be very much appreciated. What was the factor that limited this? Minimum specs changing too much? Not enough QA resources to effectively test it?I'd understand that to be an issue, if they didn't have years to do something about it. The intention behind betas on PC is to optimize and debug the game whereas on console all they have to do is debug. We're past the beta point. There's an obvious lack of concern for PC, and with EAs history of not prioritizing a games actual playability vs the profit it offers, they'll keep doing it. From the looks of things, not even EA_Blueberry is getting an answer because he has to assume it was a tough decision to release a proper game.
EDIT: And we've gotten more recommendations to buy EA play out of this thread than a single proper answer. That should say something.
