Why is my Xbox 1 account suddenly asking for a monthly fee just to play Franchise mode against the OS?

If I have to buy a monthly subscription just to play against the OS, I AM DONE WITH MADDEN. This is SO MUCH *!!!
That’s total crap and if they don’t change it, I am done with Madden!!!
No! That is not right! Bad on EA and/or Madden. They best reverse course or they will lose millions of business, especially mine! Done with Madden. Sad after all these years, I am dealing with the demon named Greed in my family, makes me sick the demon Greed has infected Madden! Fix this or Goodbye!!!
