16 teams are required for LVL now?

Yes. It will always be 16 v 16. This was mentioned in the various release infos. 16 will also be the max amount you can have in your league
@rob12321bor Do you work for EA? You say this was mentioned previously? Was it mentioned in the game? Or was it some third-party thing that we were supposed to subscribe to? Because with a change so big, the honest thing would’ve been to mention it in the game..
Don’t work for EA. It was posted on here (https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion/Madden-Mobile-Grid-Iron-Competitive-amp-Leagues-Reveal/td-p/11713620/jump-to/first-unread-message) and during the end of the 22 game there were some posts on chnges for the new season in the news section of the game.
Pretty shady how they couldn’t mention it in the game. We shouldn’t have to go to a third-party thing to learn about such an important change. They always send messages to us every day about other things. Shouldn’t of been that hard.
Can somebody that works for EA please answer my question? Is this how this season is going to be?

If you don’t have 16 players EA adds the missing ones that are AI with defense only and a very low average OVR!
You can’t bench any players, unless you have more than 16 either! Meaning, if they don’t play you’re stuck with them until you recruit more than 16!
I started a thread from last season that’s still up on here where you can reply you need LvL players so I would post your League name and your needs on it! Also, tell your focus so competitive players will be interested!
- @RunTMC666 Also I’ve argued for years that EA should communicate “in-game” rather than on here Twitch, Twitter or Reddit but they won’t!
Many in my League “GatorNation” don’t venture out of game, so I do it for them as the Commish of my League!Thanks @lkbroach

Check your focus and limits in League settings and add a blurb you need more players.
