A.I. on defensive strategy Madden Mobile

Question

How does the defensive AI choose what play to call out of the 5 plays we chose on each down and distance?

I just played a guy and it chose the same defensive play EVERYTIME I got a first down which allowed me to carve him up. Is it totally random? Is it by formation called on offense which triggers the AI to call best defensive formation of the 5 chosen plays for each situation?

There just aren’t enough resources for madden mobile even guys are dishing out thousands of dollars to keep competitive.

Some people only choose 1 play, so that's why that's all you saw on 1st.Lots of players use quarters on 1st down to prevent 1 play TDs. In the old arena, quickest to score was the tie-breaker.

Thanks for your response. I have man 3 up on my first down as well. But I still don’t have the answer to the questions. How does the AI call the plays? Is it totally random or does is match the best defensive formation for the offensive formation called?

for example if the player picks a 4 wide play like Hail Mary, will the ai call a dime or quarter formation, if it is 1 of the 5 plays I have selected on defense for that down?

if I can get understand what’s happening, I feel like I could figure out a hellacious defensive strat.
