How does the defensive AI choose what play to call out of the 5 plays we chose on each down and distance? I just played a guy and it chose the same defensive play EVERYTIME I got a first down which ...

Thanks for your response. I have man 3 up on my first down as well. But I still don’t have the answer to the questions. How does the AI call the plays? Is it totally random or does is match the best defensive formation for the offensive formation called?

for example if the player picks a 4 wide play like Hail Mary, will the ai call a dime or quarter formation, if it is 1 of the 5 plays I have selected on defense for that down?

if I can get understand what’s happening, I feel like I could figure out a hellacious defensive strat.
