A possible implementation of a locked down Auction House
I know there have been tons of people asking for the Auction House back but I wanted to give an example of a possible way to reimplement the Auction House. I'm sure EA is aware of this but the benefits of an auction house should greatly improve user engagement, bring back a ton of players, and increase overall game revenue.
I feel an Auction House that has zero player-to-player interaction and only player-to-server interaction with either automatically adjusting dynamic pricing set by the Auction House bot or manually adjusted price ranges would make an auction house that is almost impossible to exploit and would allow for manual adjustment of the overall game economy on the fly. Players would not be able to bid/buy against each other as all interaction would be purely between you and the server, and since each player would need to have their own auction house the total number of cards in each player auction house could be reduced significantly as each player does not need a full auction house when everyone has their own. That would save space on EA servers while still offering a robust auction house experience. Each player's auction house could be randomly generated with random cards and automatically priced by the bot or manually adjusted when necessary.
Maybe store any auction house data separately and keep backups of things like coins gained/spent through the Auction House as well as cards sold and bought through the Auction House. I can't think of any possible scenarios of how someone could abuse the Auction House, but this system would allow for a player/players to have their Auction House data rolled back if there ever was some way they found to abuse this system while leaving other players untouched.
Overall I feel this would be the easiest path to massively improving the game and probably the best decision for ROI in terms of possible additions therefore netting the best outcome for EA and the players.
I hope this approach or a similar approach is considered by the team, thank you.
