@EA_Blueberry Why were the two point conversion plays changed under the vertical scheme, specifically removing HB Base and sticking in Trap? Was this change announced somewhere.
This was an intended change.
It really screwed me up too. They need to put it back ASAP. Or let us be able to choose what plays we want.
Changing the plays suddenly and randomly mid season is just silly, bad enough you get basic choices
EA, allow us to choose plays for 2 point, this is bull crap, no notice, just crap
@EA_Blueberry why are we limited in 2 point plays anyways. It should be open to the entire playbook, like in the NFL.
Curious if anyone has seen or heard any reasoning or explanation as to why the plays were changed suddenly?
@ElmoPeabodyGenerally when a change like this is made, it is because a certain play was "broken" for whatever reason and was too successful when enough data was compiled. My guess would be yes, that it is a permanent change. There definitely could have been an announcement about it though to be fair. I'm sorry that it impacted your drives. That is definitely frustrating.
In past seasons the entire playbook was available for 2 point conversions, but some plays were impossible to defend against regardless of the defensive play call. So that is why they went to the 2 run, 2 short pass, and 2 play action format that it currently is.
I get that, however that’s why you have to set up your defence, if there’s a strong run then it’s an additional challenge to set your team up to combat that.
It’s ultimately the reverse of a defence being able to use FG Block or Punt Block on 2 point conversions last year, it made it near impossible to convert against stronger D-Lines
