Color rush booster don't work

I spoke with ea support in the phone last week and was told the bug couldn't/wouldn't be patched but that some form of compensation would be made after the event. I managed to make it through Adams and that was nearly a 72 hour grind around the clock (I stopped at 2 or 3 am and picked back up at 8 or 9 in the morning) I wasn't going to participate in this event but about a week into it i bought 2 packs that had boosters, not wanting to waste them I went all in and maxed the 3 of them out. I thought this would make the event easier and more worth while but the coin and XP one was useless and literally had zero affect and the time booster meant I had to set an alarm and log in every 2 hours for 3 days straight. When I first noticed the bug I assumed it would be patched then after talking to support and being told it would not I made the decision to play as much as possible so it wasn't a complete loss. Needless to say, it made the whole experience unenjoyable and has left me bitter and sceptical over investing any real money into future events. My last hope is that I will be acceptably compensated bit as I said I am sceptical...
