Compatible O/S and devices for Overdrive?

and you can't even get an answer from anybody! *! what tablet, if any, can be used for overdrive? I'm not about to spend a thousand dollars for a stupid phone that I don't even want! Just answer the * questions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I suspect that phone may not be able to play Overdrive, but it's worth trying after the update.

In some cases minimum spec requirements are hard cut-offs and in some cases they're suggested specs in order to get a better experience, and the game will still run. Unfortunately I haven't been able to test on below-spec phones so I can't confirm or deny whether the game will run. 

I have a galaxy s4, so unless I get the s5 or something better I won't be able to play at all? I'm not tech savvy at all, so can you explain to me why my s4 isn't compatible.

From the info I have, the game will use a technology called OpenGL ES 3.0, which is used for rendering game graphics. 

Phones created before a certain time won't have the hardware needed to run this technology properly and such phones either might not run the game at all, or just run it slightly slowly. It's hard to tell how a shortfall will manifest.

You mention the S4, I've been looking into this and certain models of the S4 use hardware that does actually support the OGLES 3.0 technology. 

If you check your phone's model number you can check if it's one of the following: GT-I9505 GT-I9506 GT-I9515

If you have one of these Overdrive may run, but I can't make any guarantees, and the only way to be sure is to test when Overdrive arrives.

Yea. They said it's compatible for a galaxy or Iphone s5 or newer.

what about the rca viking pro
