Fail to initialize

Receiving a “failed to initialize ea services” message ever time I open app since updating last Thursday to MM26. How can I address this? Everyday same message, every attempt. 
iOS.
I’ve toggled between WiFi and cellular. I’ve offloaded the app 5 times and reinstalled, both from wifi and cellular.
I have not uninstalled and reinstalled app as my account is not linked (previously logged in as guest as I’ve had problems attempting to link account previously). 
hoping for a solution where I don’t lose all progress / MC from MM25.
