Hi, I’m having a problem where I can’t launch madden mobile 21 or fifa mobile on my iPad, I can enter my age and tap to start but then a dialogue box appears saying “failed to initialize EA service(s)” and this happens repeatedly no matter what I try.Since this is for madden and a similar message appears for fifa there must be a problem with my device and the EA servers I guess?I have tried hard restarting my iPad, deleting and reinstalling the app, clearing the cookies etc. from safari in settings and waiting for 3 days but no luck! The iPad is a 6th generation running iPadOS 14.2 (updated recently before the issues but I was able to play on the new software before it stopped working). I can’t access the online chat despite that being requested by EA help in their email response :/So thanks for the help 🙂

@jimmya7177 Im having the same issue. Been 36 hours. Ive emailed EA. We will see what happens. I have a guy from Discord helping. Ive done the same as you. No luck. I'll try to check in here and there and update and see how things are going for you.

@jimmya7177 So I tried from my work phone. Had the same issue using my personal Google account, but switching over to my work Google account, I was able to get it to work. So its something with Google play.

Ahh ok, so changing the account your phone was logged into made it work? Or the account the game was logged into? Because I can’t even get up to the game account selection (I login using Facebook normally). also should say I’m using iPad so no google account for me, maybe the Apple account though I guess? I’ll let you know if I figure anything out!

@jimmya7177 It was doing the same for me, till I reset my settings to default, and it worked! So sometime I must've changed a setting that blocked something.

Maybe try to download the game on a different device and log in from the other device

@jimmya7177 me too , worked fine friday night ,,Saturday and Sunday not working,,failed to initialize ea services error..Samsung galaxy 7 phone, reinstalled 4 times ...so frustrated..nobody else in my league has this problem...i got 28 million coins top 200 league..really need a fix soon ..please help

Hi, everyone.

If you're experiencing this error and still can't get into the game, we recommend the following steps below:

Delete the app from your device (if you play on guest mode and do not have your account linked to Google/Apple/Facebook, your progress will be lost)

Check your device to see if there are any software updates

Clear the cache on the app under your app settings

Force Stop the app

Restart your device

Toggle WiFi off and back on and/or remove your WiFi network you connect to and re-add it

Clear up space on your device

Log out of the account on your device and log back in

If looks like there were a rush of reports but they've seemed to disappear since this post was created. Please notify us of the type of device you play on if these steps do not help.

When I launch the game it will not load also getting the unknown error message. I believe it has something to do with my router. If I use cellular data the game will work. If I’m connected to Wi-Fi I cannot play the game on my iPad iPhone,nor any device. I am able to play with Wi-Fi at my friends house. Other EA games like fifa will work with my WiFi, but for some reason this game does not.

@KennyKingBoy Have you tried removing the WiFi network from your device and re-added it?
