Solved

got a notification that the League match expired and I won. I never played.

I got a notification that someone in my league challenged me. I went into my league to see that I had to "wait" to play my challenger (the yellow pause sign was bent to my challenger's name). There was no score and when I looked at the film, and there was no plays and no drives.

Today I got a notification that the match had expired and I won. I never played. Does this mean my challenger started the match, but never finished his first drive?

@janosfia yes it simply means they challenged you but never did a drive which gave you the win

My problem also relates to League - every time I play someone and have my turn -  I then keep coming back to check to see if he has responded it says Wait. (Other Player hasn’t played yet I assume.)

But then , the next time I come back it says my match has expired. I have never been able to complete a match with a second turn. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a time limit on when a player has to complete the match I played with him and how long do I have to respond back.

so frustrating as I not sure WHAT I’m doing wrong  - I seem to be always missing my turn next.

suggestions on what I’m doing wrong appreciated 😳

In a League vs. League game you only get to play your opponent once and up to 3 different opponents from the other league. When you say you come back, is right after you restart the device or after X amount of days? There is a timer at the top of the League vs. League match screen letting you know how much time is left for everyone to complete their matches.
