@munderwood098 You align the direction using the same “joystick” you use to change direction when rushing. Then to kick, you swipe up fast from the football to the top of the cone, or really beyond. It will fill in green if you stay in the cone and are fast enough. The higher in the cone the green bar goes, the farther your kick goes. Good luck.
Correct me if wrong, there is no joystick for Madden Mobile which is where I am having issues kicking,
