This happened to me twice in the space of two weeks so i know how frustrating it is but here is what worked for me.
1. Tap Settings > iTunes & App Store.
2. Tap your Apple ID.
3. Tap Sign Out.
4. Turn off your device completely, wait 2 minutes, and then restart.
5. Go to Settings > iTunes & App Store.
6. Tap Sign In, then enter your Apple ID and password.I did this multiple times probably due to frustration so try it a few times if it doesn’t work, but i would update things if they need to be updated, then log out before you go to bed, and log in in the morning hopefully this should give it enough time to work.
If you don’t already have a case open with apple i would contact them (please be patient and polite with them as they will do their best to help you) explain to them the issue that you are having, that EA say it is an apple problem, and aren’t willing to accept any responsibility for the matter, that you find it frustrating and feel that the money you spent on the app has been wasted and ask them if it is possible to reclaim any of it.

Tried it with my iPhone and nothing. Same ol response. Can't find a fix online anywhere and no answers from EA. Not enjoying myself at this point.

- Anonymous8 years agoAnd how has a rep not responded in so long? Especially after I believe two or three members requested and tagged one specifically. Can we get an answer. Not a "we are working on it". Something? Or you literally could care less. Maybe if it was your problem you'd care.

Same thing just occurred to me the other day, now I can’t buy a thing! Super annoyed, and I’m nearly ready to quit this game
- Anonymous8 years agoFollowed up with EA support via email and they replied that their studio team is currently working with Apple, no ETA at this time but they assured me that their team is working on it. Crossed my fingers, as the season goes there will be better stuff coming out and we certainly don't want to miss that train
- Anonymous8 years agoAnything about what they are going to do for the players who've been impacted by this for near two months? Probably not I'm assuming but curios none the less.

Hopefully some type of pack I feel so devastated I’ve haven’t purchased since maybe a month and a half ago
