I do not have any updates as of right now. I was last notified they are aware of it and investigating it. Because many players could be impacted they could be looking into a development side fix which could automatically grant it once the fix it put into place. I will be off shortly for the weekend and will hunt down more info for you when I return Monday.
I was unaware of this issue and cashed in my 12 tokens only to get a rare OT instead of the choice of 5x Mahomes or Brady. Was really hoping to rank up Mahomes. Please help
@EA_Blueberry no hating or demands, just wondering if there is any hope of resolution or timeline? I'm going on several weeks now and do have other paths now to use other resources to get the needed Mahomes shards. Just wondering if I need to spend them or if I should hold off.
On a different note, hope the "EA powers that be" know that this year, with the emphasis on MC and purchasing MC on needed resources, when a reward is "bugged" like this the sensitivity and importance to some may be heightened (and then perhaps more ethically important for EA to fix) since it's more likely one spent real $$ and not just "fake" resources earned in game. Spending real money to get the wrong rewards is problematic on many levels obviously. Thanks for your work on this!

This was raised up to the team and I unfortunately don't have any updates to share on a timeline or resolution at this moment. It is still being investigated and in cases where players received the incorrect content it could take longer to investigate to determine the amount of accounts impacted by it. In these circumstances, it's possible they will be able to fix it on their end and automatically send out the correct rewards, or they may need those impacted to contact our Support for the correct item. Currently awaiting word on how this is going to be approached and once we find out we'll update you all here ASAP. Thank you for hanging in there, I understand it's tough. We'll make sure you get your correct rewards.
