LvL changing Lineups

Question

I am a member of 16 man league. On several occasions the game will automatically bench a player, usually the same player, and put us against a 15 man league. Every time this has happened, it has been against a league ranked in the top100, usually top 50. Now, we are all for competitive gaming, makes us all better, but this guy is getting tired of being removed from the lineup as the match starts. As would anyone. Is there a reason for this, has anyone else encountered this problem?

Oh yes. I'm quite familiar with the ole EA autobench. It always benches the guy on the bottom of the lineup when it happens. It aggrivates the hell out of me.
We actually use the bottom of the lineup as an incentive to score because anyone who lays a goose egg gets put in the bottom slot where he might be benched by EA.
It's annoying but it's been a part of the game for a while. It was like that last season as well.

The reason why it’s happening more frequent is because less people are playing the game. &nbsp;In the beginning of the season it was basically a non-issue but now it kicks out up to three people sometimes.&nbsp;
