Madden NFL 26 Mobile - Pre-Launch Checklist
Server Downtime: August 5th - August 6th.
We’re launching the new Madden NFL 26 Mobile on August 8th, and in preparation for the rollover to MM26 the servers will be down 08/05 and 08/06.
Now is the time to get all of your ducks in a row, and make all of the changes you need as we move into the new season!
What Stays And What Goes?
As we transition to Madden NFL 26 Mobile, there will be several key changes affecting your current progress and inventory from MM25. Below is a high-level overview of what will be transferring over to the new season, and what will be resetting as we get kicked through the air like a beautiful field goal into MM26.
Please review the following information carefully:
- Player Rollover and Overall Reduction: All players from MM25 will automatically carry over into MM26. However, their Overall (OVR) ratings will be significantly reduced to align with the new season's progression system.
- MM25 Legacy Trades: To assist with the transition, MM25 Legacy Trades will be available.
- These special trades will allow you to convert your MM25 rollover players into valuable MM26 players or other essential resources, providing a fresh start.

- Currency and Item Balances Reset: All accumulated balances for Coins, Team Training Points (TTP), League Tokens, Trophies, Play Tokens, and VS Drinks will be reset to zero (0) at the start of MM26. Please plan accordingly for these resets.
- User Level and Playbook Budget Reset: Your User Level will be reset to 0, and your playbook budget will return to its default starting value.
- This ensures all users begin MM26 on an even playing field regarding progression and strategic options.

- Purchased Plays Removal: All plays that were purchased during MM25 will be removed from your inventory.
- Playbook Reset to Default: Similarly, all user-customized playbooks will be reset to the default starting playbook.
- You will need to rebuild your playbooks for MM26. To compensate for the removal of purchased plays, users will receive Play Tokens based on a conversion rate for all plays they bought in MM25.
- These tokens can then be used to acquire new plays in MM26.
- A “Play It Forward” Shop Awaits!
For the last few months, players have been able to conquer challenges and claim Play It Forward (PIF) Tokens, which will be carried over and made redeemable in Madden NFL 26 Mobile!
This special currency from these challenges will enable you to get awesome rewards from a unique shop in Madden NFL 26 Mobile that will help you get an awesome head-start to the 2026 season!
You’ll be able to spend your hard-earned PIF tokens on things like Player Card Packs, Team Training Points, Madden Coins, and even some new additions for MM26 like Trait Crates, that will help to supercharge your start to the season!
Get That Account Linked Up!
Given the big changes headed your way with the exciting launch of Madden NFL 26 Mobile, it's absolutely crucial to ensure your account is properly secure. This means making sure that the account is properly linked to the Web Store, as well as tethered to your EA, Google Play, Apple, or Facebook account.
Imagine the nightmare of losing all your hard-earned progress simply because your account wasn't secure!
Don't worry, we've put together a step-by-step guide to get your account in top shape.
First things first, get off that Guest Account!
To reliably save your progress, link your account using your EA, Google Play, Apple, or Facebook account.
This small action can save you a lot of grief in the long run.

Just head to Settings and then check out the Account Management section for all the ways to link your account and back-up your progress.
