Madden NFL mobile "resource download error"

Every time I try to open the game it says "resource download error, please check your internet connection and try again". Can someone give me an answer on how to fix this problem, I've spent a lot of time and money into this game. Let me know asap thanks

Try to close the application and better yet turn off your device and start it on. If you are using wifi to connect to the game, try to forget your current network and re-establish your connection. Make sure you have enough space. Do all this before you open the apps again.

If everything fails report the incident at http://help.ea.com - make sure to screenshot the error and attached it to the report.
