I'm not sure why they directed you to come here to recover missing items, our forum staff cannot do that. If there was a bug in game, this is a great source to post it. I recommend contacting them again via in-game from Settings>Help>Submit a Missing Items case. It may have been some miscommunication on the Advisor's behalf, please try to explain in detail as best as you can what happened and request to have the team look where the missing gems went. Perhaps you spent it on something and forgot?
