My Google Play Madden NFL coupon did not apply on my purchase

I had a $4.00 coupon for Madden Mobile and typically my coupon applies towards Madden NFL purchase after I get my coupon.  Today my Madden NFL $4.00 coupon did not apply.  I would like my coupon applied towards this purchase I made today.  I called EA support and I was informed to put my message on this forum.

    Much appreciated. Since purchases like this are processed through the Google Play store we don't have a lot of visibility as to why the coupon may not have been applied correctly. The best thing to do would be to reach out to Google Play support and see if they can spot why the coupon wasn't applied.

    I'm afraid that isn't something that we would be able to investigate or help with directly here on Answers HQ. Do you have a case number from when you were speaking with the EA Help team?
