Have you tried switching to mobile data (if possible) or switched to a different WiFi channel if your router has it? Some routers have 2.4Ghz and 5.0Ghz. I was able to avoid network timeouts once I switched to 2.4.
We have some additional steps below that are worth a try. If you synced up to your account to Facebook/Apple/Google your progress will be preserved when you try re-installing the app.Android Troubleshooting

The issue of s only on mobile data. I tried reinstalling to no positive effect. Issue remained
