Community ManagerWe are aware of and looking into this issue. I will post any available information on this as it becomes available.
Seems the answer is simple. Roll the update back to the old version until you figure out the problem. Or temporarily reactive and remove the head to head feature. Both would prevent the issue from happening. Instead, EA wasted over a day telling everyone it was their issue, now is taking their sweet time with this. I offered two solutions that will appease all of the thousands impacted by this. Instead, nothing.

- Having this exact issue and - while I wish you weren't having the problem at all - it made me feel sane to see that' it's an actual problem. I emailed EA Customer Support on their website Wednesday night, no solution yet...but I got a ticket number! That helps!
Calvincat, I put in a ticket too. EA promptly closed it without explaining why. So, I opened another ticket telling them that they should at least explain why. Really bad customer service. I saw another message board where an EA person said they are working hard to fix this and there is a workaround if you have an Android device.
From an EA developer in the EA sport forum:
We believe we have a fix for this guys. I cannot give you a timeline because again many different parties have their hands in this, but we are moving as fast as we can. Multiple critical issues are being addressed and hopefully everyone will return to play soon. I am sorry that you are missing out on events, collectibles, etc. I know that can be frustrating.
I will update again when I have a definitive timeline, but know this is top priority for us right now and you are not being left at the wayside.
I may have a work around also but it is not guaranteed. If you are a FB user and you can log into an Android Device, you will be able to get past this blocking popup and from then on the account should work on both iOS and Android. I know not everyone has both platforms so its a long shot but just a heads up.LInk to other EA forum:
