Having this exact issue and - while I wish you weren't having the problem at all - it made me feel sane to see that' it's an actual problem. I emailed EA Customer Support on their website Wednesday night, no solution yet...but I got a ticket number! That helps!
Calvincat, I put in a ticket too. EA promptly closed it without explaining why. So, I opened another ticket telling them that they should at least explain why. Really bad customer service. I saw another message board where an EA person said they are working hard to fix this and there is a workaround if you have an Android device.
