Having this exact issue and - while I wish you weren't having the problem at all - it made me feel sane to see that' it's an actual problem. I emailed EA Customer Support on their website Wednesday night, no solution yet...but I got a ticket number! That helps!
From an EA developer in the EA sport forum:
We believe we have a fix for this guys. I cannot give you a timeline because again many different parties have their hands in this, but we are moving as fast as we can. Multiple critical issues are being addressed and hopefully everyone will return to play soon. I am sorry that you are missing out on events, collectibles, etc. I know that can be frustrating.
I will update again when I have a definitive timeline, but know this is top priority for us right now and you are not being left at the wayside.
I may have a work around also but it is not guaranteed. If you are a FB user and you can log into an Android Device, you will be able to get past this blocking popup and from then on the account should work on both iOS and Android. I know not everyone has both platforms so its a long shot but just a heads up.
