I downloaded Madden NFL Mobile from Google Play about 10 days ago. I was enjoing the app enough to make several in-app purchases to attempt to make my team, and therefore my playing experience better. However, I have had nothing but problems with this app and EA's support since then. I have had just about every problem reported in these forums over the last two weeks. I have lost my entire team once, lost players and coins in auctions, have had problems connecting to EA servers, been unable to play due to maintenance, the app closing for no reason and been booted out of the auction house.
I have spent hours and hours trying to get ahold of EA support and when I do get in touch with them I keep getting told that my case is being escalated to a higher group and that somebody will contact me within 2 days. I have yet to be contacted by anyone at EA wiithout me initaiting the contact first.
I have been told by EA that they cannot issue me a refund for my in-app purchases because I "did not buy the game from Origin and should contact Google.
Today was the final straw for me. I contacted Google Play support. The informed me that the app developers are responsible for making refunds for in-app purchases not matter what they say. Google Play support was able to make a one time courtesy refund of my in-app purchases and suggested that I not make any more purchase from this developer. That won't be a problem.
They also suggested that I report the developer for not properly supporting their app at the following website:
