Why does it seem like no matter what I'll never get a Combine Base Player?

I'm giving the Combine all I've got for the past few days & I have basically all of the collectables for every set. I've noticed that outta all my games I have not pulled not 1 Combine base Player & ...

    50k on pro packs is nothing. I've opened more than 300 packs and pulled 2 gold combine players. From what I've read, you can only pull the gold players from packs, not from the event.

I have had friends get lucky in pro packs. Maybe put some coins into a combine pack next time it comes around

      I've dropped over 300k in one day in pro packs and didn't get anything back. It's all a gamble my man

        I also think the chances in combine packs for the players is way more likely
