Bug -- A Better Beginning, See PeeBee on the other side of the chasm, continue to follow the conduit but the door won't open in the hallway. No console, just locked. Lights spawn from the floor but...
Respawn might help.
If you are on a PC, try to repair the game.
(Origin > Game Library > right click MELE > Repair)
(Steam > Game Library > right click at MELE > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.)
