You know, a full on Hair Update would do the game wonders. An update that outright replaces the hair assets currently used, directly. So no individual character needs to be changed but just a global shift to the new hair styles that are in the place of the old referenced hairstyles.
Individual editing could be done later.
Release it along side a Barber addition, so people can change their hair at their leisure. Doesn't need to be an actual barber but it could just be a mirror in the bathroom. Makeup as well could be changed there.
Bioware and Bethesda hairs are so bad, I have no idea why. I don't notice such bad hair in most games. Especially in Andromeda, so many people have weird a/f short hair styles or partial buzz cuts.

The main reason a lot of these games stick to short hairstyles is clipping issues. Longer hair clips with everything. Your char, clothing, armor etc.. no engine has been built yet that will gather longer hair up above a clothing item colar or let it flow over it rather than through it.. bet the first person to figure out that design is gunna make a fortune 😁😁

there was a mod for skyrim that used a modified version of the in game physics to add some hairstyles that had flowing hair, it was far from perfect, but imho, far better then what the game shipped with.
---edit
iirc, it was the hdt physics extension + hdt enabled hair... something-or-an-other.

Yes but still it could be done to look better...waaay better ... I don't think some clipping here and there would bother anyone more than having such poor design and appearances. It's 2017 lol
Uncharted 4, The Order 1886, Resident Evil 6 just a few titles u could watch on youtube... really nicely done those cutscenes and good looking appearances/ acting so engaging looking really well put together. 🙂

I second this. The least they could do would be to let us have Miranda's hair.

Yep, it may not entirely be a new idea but I wholeheartedly support this.
Definitely second this idea. Hell if Capcom can do it with Dragon's Dogma barber shop. I Definitely hope Bioware can also.

Clothes totally.
They did a great job on the character wardrobe and the ability to even colour casual clothing - now they need to let us use that to it's full potential.. with a wardrobe full of clothing ! :D
It would also give us something to spend all those credits on.
Lets go clothes shopping! Even the Pathfinder needs a break now and then.

I almost suggested this too. I really wish we could if not customize, then have different optional appearances to choose from, even if it is just one or two different styles (And HAIR styles. Good heavens, I'd change Liam and Corra's hair in a heart beat)
Hah yes, Cora! omg that horse hair she has 😃 I wonder if we take Liam's hair off... (we don't need Liam in game anyways lol) ... and put it on Cora with different color :eahigh_file:
Here are some interesting apparel ideas from another thread:
1. Ryder's under armor (but without gloves)
2. Initiative fatigues as seen on Cora and Liam when they are hanging on the Tempest, apparently they are standard issue for most Hyperion crew but they forgot to issue it to RyderThe one we got without the headphones.
Id also like to see a tank top like the N7 modded one that was going around for the original trilogy. (AI obviously not N7)
Plain slacks without the belt / sash bit
Also some denim jeans.captain dunn's jacket
fatigues and a t-shirt, and perhaps a version with a pathfinder or tempest capClown outfit would be seriously funny.
Something that looked like a scout, hiking, climbing, or an outdoorsy outfit would be nice. I thought they were scouts/explorers.
And then, just because, bib-overalls. Sara's could be cutoffs. So I'm thinking cat suit...
I don't know why some sort of overalls/coveralls aren't an option. There's a reason astronauts use them. A set of those with short or cutoff sleeves for either Scott or Sara wouldn't look bad. Part open at the neck, some kind of undershirt...
As for what I would want to have ... hm, casual outfit, suit mafia, cheerleader, 1930's dress, farmer, tango dancers. Many things would appease me at this stage. Even clowns.
How about Han Solo outfit with blaster, Royal navy turtleneck and slacks with artillerist's stripes, 1950's men's/women's casual outfits, cargo pants and Blood Dragon T-shirt, military fatigues, Mal's Browncoat outfit, the dress from the "good morning" song from Singin' in the Rain
I want the same jacket as Captain Dun, alec got one so why don't we :D
I'd like a dress.
I'd like to select (and color) top and bottoms separately.
I'd like an Accessory category, with some things separated into it; for example the headphones in the new casual outfit.i guess one more outfit i'd like would be combining something like fem shep's dress from me3, with male shep's leather jacket. that would be a pretty good look for a night off duty.
