If I Remember right in the Legacy version of Mass Effect 2 you could originally pick up the Cerberus Sniper Rifle (The Widow) on the Derelict Reaper if you hadn't already. Anothet difference was the Reaper was in Orbit around Klendagon and it was Chandanaka which was the name of the system and and qas originally the Century Systemwhere Klendagon is. I would like to see that re-implemented again and fixed where you canpick up ALL ADVANCED WEAPONS through Multiple Playthroughs of Mass Effect 2 andFix the OverlordDlc Bug on the Geth ship. Originally when played it lastyear youcould shoot the inactive geth in the head but you can't do that anymore. It alsmade the Overlord dlc much easier!
@Darthvader99076 I don't EVER remember you being able to pick all advanced weapons without a mod. It was always just the first play that you got to choose the special weapon or another weapon type and forever after you just got heavy ammo or something.
Also husks were always a bum rush mechanic in ME2 original....if you shoot them in the groin...balls...they die pretty quickly, that is their head shot area...lol. Basically, if you are on harder difficulty, strip their armor, then lift them off their feet, with adept, use heavy pistol, drop a heavy Singularity, and shoot them to strip their armor and let the singularity lift them. Other classes have other options, but if you are just shooting them you will likely run out of ammo or be surrounded and pounded to death.

Hell I even played Mass Effect 2 and 3 when it first came out so I am a veteran at Mass Effect and know where every upgrade and everything is!

Also there is a way to pick up the Geth Pulse Rifle in ME2 on Haestrom. Bioware originally intended to have it spawn into the game but cut it during development. There is a catch here, it is still in the gamefiles BUT ONLY SPAWN S ON HARDCORE AND UP! The easiest way to get the pulse rifle is to set the difficulty to hardcore mode before Haestrom. If you switch difficulty mid-mission it messes up the spawning so yoi have to complete the whole mission of Haestrom on Hardcore or higher and once past the fight with the Armature and I choose to tell Reeger to stand down. And once Tali unlocks the door there will be an intact pulse riflw you can pick up!!!!!!
- Darthvader990764 years agoNew Vanguard@Darthvader99076 Also as a tip I found that Upgraded Heavy Disrupter Ammunition works really well with thePulse Rifle. And also if you have unlocked Garus's Achievements You can pick Armor Piercing Ammo and upgrade it to Tungsten Ammo and really is effective after you have completed all AR research!!!! So I use that bonus talent on higher difficulties and somewhat makes the game more easier.

At one time it was possible on the 360 through multiple import/new game+ but now it isn't possible because of streamlined updates. also in my own opinion streamlining the whole trilogy kind of messed up and made the trilogy and characters extremely weak because squad powers and ammo powerups were also streamlined and cut. When I first played This back in May of last year everything was as exactly as I remember but aftter the first update which streamlined everything, It broke everything and in my original save file Wrex had the Geth Krogan Battlemaster Armor and Morlin had the Geth Armory License. It is also extremely important to get every license in ME1 because this carries over into Mass Effect 3 with Conrad Vernor if you choose to to do the side quest and dont blow him off in ME2 otherwise he will do something extremely stupid and you will hear this news article over the radio on Illium. Conrad is actually a disgraced scientist who wrote a paper on Dark energy. Also because of streamlining it has made Mass Effect 2 extremely difficult even on the normal difficulty setting and the AI NPC packaging is all wonky. They tend to rush you in groups and then the next thing you know is you are boxed into a corner with multiple enemies around you and you don't have enough room to fire your weapon or melee an enemy and they overwhelm you in seconds and you are dead. This needs fixing and addressing in the next updates also. I am a strategist and I improvise based on the current situation, and always try to engage enemies from behind cover. That is another thing that is messed up too. Sometimes firing from cover doesn't always work and sometimes you can't lean out or fire a weapon and also you get pushed back from cover while in cover due to the physics engine. So this streamlined patch literally messed everything up and EA needs to revert the patch! Also Spectre Weapons fail to spawn and damage and rate of fire doesn't roll over to the next level. Once on the legacy version I had A Spectre and Geth Assault Rifle with 300-500 damage! Also when starting a game of New Game+ for ME2, The Prolouge Tutorial is kinda messed up too. First to start off you originally had whatever pistol and armor you had eqiuipped during the Final Collector Base Mission. You also would have a full loadout too and Jacob would have the Geth Shotgun but when waking up you have the default armor and pistol equipped.
