@tyl0413i own the originals on Origin.
i will buy legendary edition the day they put original scenes back!- tyl04135 years agoSeasoned Veteran@Naala Now that you say that it might not be a bad idea to download them right now and store them away on an external hard drive far away from an internet connection while we can.
- @tyl0413 already done that when all this BS started while ago ;D
plus wont you launch the game through steam and forced to open origin anyway? thats how it is with my Fallen jedi. - tyl04135 years agoSeasoned Veteran@Naala With Mass Effect 3 yes but with 1 and 2 it plays directly through Steam.
- @EA_Mako EA pandering to feminists and Twitter, i have no hope in ME:LE or any future games. SJWs are EA's priority
- tyl04135 years agoSeasoned Veteran@instasamka95 You should spend your money elsewhere then, other than the console issue i've only heard good things about Cyberpunk (haven't had the chance to play it myself though)
- @tyl0413 Just think about it:
Ubisoft/Sony/Microsoft games never had sexy women and fanservice in them, and even Bioware's Dragon Age never had them.
Only EA games with attractive females were Mass Effect and Need for Speed, both my favorite series, and both got desexualized/censored now.
I just want hot girls to stay in ME and NFS, i don't need them in other EA games or games at all @tyl0413ye PC version is fine and i played it on patch 1.0.5 that was a few patches ago
in general (for everyone),
Me and my wife was talking about EA and the censuring of miranda and other developers in general, And she brought a good point up she said: Game developers these days treat us like kids, while Game of thrones which almost entire world LOVED which has blatant fricken "sibling love", and i lost count on how much nudity. i agree with her point but ofc we dont mean games should have what GoT included ("sibling love") but why is all the nudity allowed there when teens can watch it i mean it was rated 13 - 16 years in most countries some had 18 but not majority so either T for teens or M for Mature in selected countries https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0944947/parentalguide
i really dislike these double standards its fine in movies its fine in TV shows HELL many rap music videos are more 1: vulgar and 2: has more sexy females then what the last 5 years combined in games. its so unfair and wrong. and i never thought about that what makes it all fine there with a M for MATURE rating but not in a game?
it boggles my mind PLUS said music videos are up on youtube for many teens to watch well anyone really. normally things mature the longer it goes on but game development immatured to kids standards.- tyl04135 years agoSeasoned Veteran@Naala My guess would be that it's because of movies and music being more mainstream than gaming especially in some other parts of the world. Also that nowdays the majority of the gaming market is actually the casuals and kids, at least that's what it looks like when you take a look at how much more money free to play and mobile games make.

Some things were accepted on prime time TV but less so in video games because of the misconception that video games are solely for children. That sensibility has changed. For instance, despite what's being discussed in this thread, BioWare has become less conservative over the years when it comes to nudity. In Mass Effect 3, characters shower with their clothes on. In Dragon Age Inquisition and Mass Effect Andromeda, there's full frontal nudity. I don't think an adjusted camera angle in Mass Effect 2 is a demonstration of BioWare being prudish, when they have demonstrated in the past that they're moving in the opposite direction.
I have said this before, and I'm probably going to drop it after this post, but I see no reason to believe that BioWare is making the change because they're against butts when the games they made after the Mass Effect trilogy show a lot more than just the back of someone's trousers. It was just a really dumb shot.
Anyway, here's a confirmed example of another shot that has been altered. Why is there no outrage over this? (Top: Original. Bottom: Remaster)
