Did they leave though? IIRC, all we found out is that the city was sacrificed to save Meridian, and supposedly both are currently Jardaan-free, we assume. They could still be there, elsewhere in the cluster, or the cluster's branch of the race may be dead

Dunno. I don't recall the exact things they said. But I do think they said something about 'returning', so they had to go somewhere. Perhaps they used that black-hole to travel somewhere. Or got the flu and died.
