I had this problem a couple of years ago after buying some DLC. At the start of last year I contacted support - I tried when it first happened and no fix was provided - and it was solved. They deleted the game from my account, the standard edition I bought at launch, and replaced it with the N7 Collector's Edition. Note that this didn't delete any of my multiplayer progress, but it did remove all of my DLC. I then had to contact support again to get it restored, using information about their purchases that I acquired from my account's details on their website.
