Biotic and Tech Squad Strength Colour Switch- Stylistic or Bug?

There were several steps to sync up aesthetics between the games. While it's been long enough that I honestly don't remember the colors in the OG Mass Effect, this is exactly the sort of thing that would be changed for this edition of the game.
