black screen when in game

I have played this quite a lot of times but just lately on a new playthrough when I try to see Miranda in the apartment I get a black screen on trying to get in the room.  I had to play through the g...

    I updated the game which solved the problem and have started a new game now so hope this works ok.

Thanks. 

Can you try restarting your machine with a Clean Boot and see if that has any effect? If this has no effect, can you try turning down the graphics settings just before you arrive at the section in question?
