Me too, made multiple purchase before recognising problem
I’ve had the same issue. I contacted PlayStation network and they told me they couldn’t do anything and to contact EA. I contacted EA and they admitted it’s a problem they are having and would address it and to check back with them in a week or 2. After waiting a few weeks a contacted EA again where I was told that it was now not an issue on their end and that it was a PlayStation issue with is obviously bulls*it because the first time I contacted Them
they told me they were looking into resolving this issue. After contacting PlayStation for a refund they said sorry, and there is nothing they can do because it’s been 14 days since the purchase. EA was at fault and because of their nonsense I lost out, and PlayStation won’t give me any credit to my account or even a month of ps plus added to my subscription due to them having a product in their store that is glitched \ bugged and doesn’t work. They allow you to buy something bugged and won’t refund you for it. This is complete BS!!!
Others have had this issue. The first time I contacted PlayStation they realized there was a problem and the second time almost 2 months later i was told by them that the credits did go to my account when I received nothing, and after explaining this to a supervisor at PlayStation customer service they just closed the live chat with me and ended the session. The supervisor said sorry and instead of finding a solution, my concern about something that went wrong in their store was just closed. Terrible customer service from both EA and PlayStation!!

It's an obvious scam they're aware of but figure no one will go through the court process to get the money back. There is a way to get the money back. You can pay with PayPal and dispute the charges. I found it odd Playstation never fights back against this process. Right up until I found out there's a good reason for it. They simply ban your account and lock you out of ALL your purchased games like absolute f wits. They have been aware of the scam since 2017 and know they can get away with it. It's too expensive to combat in court and if you do find a way around they will take your *. They could still legally block your account even if you did win in court. It's really a disgusting scam but who's gonna stop them?
