[Bug Report]- PS5 ME1 Final fight (game breaking)

[BUG REPORT] PS5- I can't get through the final fight with Saren I'm getting constant crashing or freezes during the fight I don't know if this is a legacy bug or something new but it's game breaking for me, any help or advice would be great or a potential work around? I want to start ME2 but the completionist in me wouldn't feel right starting without concluding ME1.

    UPDATE: I found a really old thread saying it can be linked to causing Saren to suicide with paragon, i went back chose neutral choices and I didn't have any crashing or freezing and was able to use all powers in the fight. Hope this helps.

    unfortunately it looks like this is the only real solution, don't use any offensive biotic powers. turn off auto power usage for your squad, too, if that's on.

    I made a duplicate thread for this issue but haven't tried the no-biotic-powers solution yet. Will report back

    Same thing happening to many others on PC too so it's not platform specific.

    I had a crash mid-fight (after you get the ships cutscene).

    First crash I reloaded from a save (no luck, same crash).

    The second time, I hard restarted the console, this time it was fine.

    The fight was on insanity difficulty, so it was somewhat annoying. 😉

    @BanzaiBube This isn't really a solution if you are playing a adept. This is the type of bug that should be fixed with a patch

    I can't go back because I don't have any recent saves. I'm also Adept so I can't really fight in Insanity without my abilities. This is my 29th playthrough of the whole trilogy and the first time I have come across this. If this has been a problem before you would think they would have fixed it by now.
