"This isn't really a problem when playing on Insanity now, it is an issue when the enemies get stuck on inaccessible places..."
No, it's not just a problem, because enemy can stuck in inaccessible places. This is a problem, which ruins the whole combat system, even on Insanity, because this is not how supposed to win in combat. It's a bug, not a feature...

The Citadel DLC's CAT6 troops are not an exception too.

I play now in ME2 as a soldier. This bug not occurs as much, but it's still there:
@EA_Mako Hi, I know you are not responsable for any of the bugs, I know you can't do about anything, I know that we bother you with these bugs all of the time, but I need to ask: any news about an upcoming update?
A bug like this, is a serious gameplay problem, and I still have a little hope (I know, I can be really naive sometimes) we will get some more support, but I do not have high hopes for it. Months since the game's release, and typically this publisher does not release too many updates after release.

If it is saying that a patch will come that may ease the players a bit. I don't know the new Bioware director project background and in his LinkedIn page there is only a general page of him working on gaming projects.
